Colombia Los Guacharos washed field blend

Our first coffee is this soft and lovely field blend from Los Guacharos producer group. This community blend is comprised of coffees from seven producers, many of which we’ve been fans of for years now. Nelson Rodriguez and Luz Dary Polo contribute 65% of the lot with coffee from Ines Perafan, Alirio Muñoz, Jose Uribe Lasso, Jhoan Vergara, & Ana Nelly Luna rounding out the remainder. 

This lot is a masterclass in the infinitely quaffable, endlessly enjoyable qualities of Huila, Colombia. It’s reminding us of raspberry shortbread cookies, honey, and fresh cut roses.

Processing: Washed Process (whole cherry fermentation in woven bags (tulas) that allow for leaking mucilage to drain, then de-pulped and fermented in sealed pickle barrels (canecas).
