Costa Rica Las Margaritas 26 Honey Catuai

This coffee marks the beginnings of our explorations into Costa Rica, an origin I've long had a soft spot for. Competing with coffees across multiple Brewers Cup and Barista Championship appearances, I have always felt the dynamic complexity of high quality coffees from Costa Rica have been under represented. 

Sitting at 2000 meters above sea level, Emmanuel Solis built Las Margaritas 26 by planting Catuai, Gesha, and sl28. The combined forces of this variety selection, Tarrazu's elevation, and Emmanuel's impeccable processing yield some of the country's most sought after lots.

His honey processed Catuai is stunning. Juicy red fruits give way to soft floating florals. We're tasting pomegranate, red grapes, and honeysuckle.
